2018 CADS Ski and Snowboard Festival

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 42nd annual CADS Ski and Snowboard festival, taking place at Mont-Sainte-Anne in Quebec on March 18 to 23, 2018! Thanks to La foundation des skieurs handicapés du Quebec and le Château Mont-Sainte-Anne, and in partnership with Alpine Canada Alpin and Canada Snowboard, we will once again be getting together for a week full of fun both on, and off snow; with a new Para-Olympic theme to celebrate the recent conclusion of the 2018 winter Paralympic games.

What to Expect

Once again, all attendees can expect a week filled with fun activities on snow in the beautiful trails of Mont-Sainte-Anne, as well as a wide variety of off-snow activities with the entire CADS & snow sports family. Attendees should plan to arrive in the afternoon on Sunday March 18th in order to check in and prepare for the week ahead; and plan to depart after activities wrap up on Friday the 23rd in the early afternoon.

Wondering what you’ll be doing all week? Here’s just a small taste of what we have planned:

  • Opening Ceremonies in a Para-Olympic style on Sunday evening, during which all Student/Instructor teams will be introduced.
  • 5 days of ski and snowboard improvement lessons and race training for all skill levels.
  • Meet and ride with national Para-ski and Para-snowboard team athletes and coaches recently returned from their experience in PyeongChang.
    • Ever wondered what it’s like competing in the Paralympics? Now’s your chance to find out! This is a great chance to ask any questions you might have about life as a Paralympic athlete/coach!
  • Race your friends in a Ski GS or snowboard banked slalom timed race
  • Instructor & coach improvement clinics, certification courses and modules.
  • Après ski socials (Mon-Wed) with all your friends and family, hosted at the La foundation des skieurs handicapés du Quebec
  • Daily activities, brain teasers and challenges, including Snow Bocce and a Guesstimation Race.
  • The CADS AGM on Monday evening
    • Have questions about CADS or ideas for next year? Want to find out how to get more involved? This is your chance!
  • CADS Awards Banquet & Silent Auction on Thursday evening.
    • Join us as we celebrate our most valued members, and put down some bids on some cool items!

And of course, all the skiing/snowboarding you can handle on the awesome slopes of Mont-Sainte-Anne!
