CADS Certification Programs Offered During CADS Festival

CADS Certification Programs Offered at Mount Washington, March 21 – 26, 2010

Level 2            March 22-23 (afternoons)
Level 2A         March 24-25 (afternoons)
Cost: $20         payable to CADS

Registration deadline: March 8th

1. CADS LEVEL 2 – CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR:

This person must have successfully completed the Level I course, successfully completed 18 hours of CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) or CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) teaching methodology, instructed people with disabilities or at least one (1) season, and be a current member of CADS

  • Level 2 dates: March 22 – 23, 2010, Mount Washington, BC
  • Deadline for registration:  March 8, 2010

  • Cost:  $20. – Cheques payable to CADS

2.  CADS LEVEL 2A – SIT-SKI INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION: 

Able-bodied Instructor: Must be CADS Level II instructor, having taught sit-skiing for a minimum of one (1) season.  The candidate must demonstrate and pass the sit-ski ski-off.

 Person with a Disability: A person with a disability who normally skis in a sit-ski may have the opportunity to be tested in the Sit-ski phase, or all phases of testing for the CADS Certification. 

  • Level 2A dates: March 24 – 25, 2010, Mount Washington, BC
  • Deadline for registration:  March 8, 2010
