Each year CADS recognizes those members and volunteers that have contributed in many and varied ways in the promotion and development of Disabled Skiing in Canada.

A number of awards are available:

• Administrator of the Year
  This award is given to the person who has demonstrated outstanding administrative qualities and actions for their division/zone. (Being sure deadlines are met, immediate action when necessary, running a smooth division or zone.)
• Volunteer of the Year
  This person has given a great deal of themselves to the program/division and/or zone during the season.
• Disabled Skier/Snowboarder of the Year
  A member who has improved their skiing/boarding skills during the season to a great extent.
• Instructor of the Year
  This award is given to the instructor that has given a great deal of himself/herself in their program and has demonstrated the ability to get their students to improve their skiing/boarding skills.
• Karl Hilzinger Award
  This award is given to the person who has given exceptional service to CADS and to their division and zone for a number of years.
• President’s Award
  This award is up to the president to decide who gets it for whatever reason, but is given for service to CADS.

Do you know of an entity or someone in your program or division that is worthy of recognition? Please take the time to nominate someone who makes a difference in your club or division. You can also submit nominations for:

• Ski Coach of the Year.
• Ski Area of the Year
• Division Sponsor of the Year
• Other
